Your privacy, taken seriously.

We collect information that you provide to us directly, that we gather automatically as you use the Service, and that we receive from third parties who assist us in operating it.

• Account information. Name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored in encrypted form) when you create an account or place an order. We may also offer a guest checkout option that does not require an account.
• Order information. The items you order, quantities and prices, pickup times, and your order history so we can process and fulfill your orders.
• Payment information. Billing details and payment card information, which are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Location information. Precise or approximate device location when you allow location access, so we can show you food trucks nearby. See "Location Information" below for more detail.
• Usage and device information. IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, the pages you visit, and how you interact with the Service. Some of this is collected by cookies and pixels from our analytics and advertising partners (see "Cookies and Similar Technologies").
• Communications. When you contact our support team or subscribe to notifications, we collect your contact details and the content of your communications.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate the Service — create and manage accounts, authenticate users, show food trucks near you, and process and fulfill orders.
• Send transactional communications — order confirmations, status updates, and pickup reminders by email and, if you opt in, text message.
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests and inquiries.
• Improve and personalize the Service through analytics, product research, and by recommending trucks and dishes we think you'll enjoy.
• Advertise Slyderz — show our ads to people likely to be interested, such as food truck owners, on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and measure how well those ads work (for example, how many people signed up or ordered after seeing one).
• Maintain security — detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Where we rely on consent to process your information (for example, certain marketing communications), you may withdraw your consent at any time.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in the following circumstances:

• With food trucks. We share order details with the truck you order from so they can prepare and fulfill your order.
• With service providers. Vendors that help us operate the Service, including Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (text message delivery), Resend (email delivery), PostHog (analytics), and Convex and other cloud infrastructure providers (hosting, database, and storage). These providers process information on our behalf under contractual obligations of confidentiality and security.
• With advertising and analytics partners. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. These partners may receive the pages you visit, actions you take (such as viewing a food truck, starting checkout, placing an order, or creating an account), order value, your IP address, browser and device details, and cookie identifiers. When you create an account, we also send Meta a hashed (one-way scrambled) copy of your email address, name, and account ID so it can match the sign-up to an ad you saw. These partners may combine this information with other data they hold and use it under their own privacy policies. Under some state laws, this kind of sharing for targeted advertising may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; see "Your Rights and Choices" to opt out.
• Business transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, regulation, or legal process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose where you have given us your explicit consent.

To help you find food trucks near you, we may collect precise location information from your device when you grant us permission. If you do not grant permission, we may infer an approximate location from your IP address to show trucks in your area.

You are in control of location sharing. You can revoke or change location permissions at any time through your browser or device settings, or by manually choosing a location within the Service. Disabling location access may limit certain features, such as sorting trucks by distance from you.

We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service:

• Essential cookies. Required for the Service to function, including authentication, session management, and keeping your cart intact.
• Analytics technologies. Help us understand how visitors use the Service so we can improve it, measure performance, and detect issues.
• Advertising technologies. The Meta Pixel and Google tags set cookies (such as Meta's _fbp and _fbc) that let us measure our ads and show Slyderz ads to people who visited the Service or are similar to our customers.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly. You can also limit ad-related tracking through your Meta ad preferences, Google My Ad Center, the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out, or your device's advertising settings.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to operate the Service, and to meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encrypted password storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access and obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent you previously gave us.
• Opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.

You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any such email, and opt out of text message notifications by replying "STOP". To opt out of targeted advertising, email us at the address below. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA.

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@slyderz.co and we will take steps to delete the information promptly.

The Service may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties, including the food trucks we feature. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Service. If you follow a link to a third-party website, that website's own privacy policy will apply. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
